The Huysman.Family

Jennifer and Chris contacted me about doing a family shoot after Chris returned home from his deployment. They wanted to do a shoot but not in the normal area, they wanted to go the BEACH:) I was so on board since I have been wanting to do a beach shoot!! Even though my GPS took me a little further then our meeting spot we all had a nice walk on the beach to meet each other!haha Miss.K was just adorable as ever and knew right where the camera was. She had a bag-full of faces to give me! We ended the shoot on an amazing note by texting back and forth while we were stuck in bumper2bumper traffic on the 10 that took us 5 hours to get home. Happy Birthday Calvin.

Its not everyday I get to photography someone ON their actual BIRTHDAY:) But today I had the privilege to capture Mr.Calvin when he turned the BIG 2!! H was sure full of energy when we did his shoot. He didnt want to sit still for me to take a photo and he took a little longer to warm up to me but thats okay, because mom & dad got him to smile by counting to 5. He was smiling ear to ear by the time 5 came around. Towards the end of the shoot he knew where the camera was and he was tasting the yummy icing from his cake. His 2nd birthday is another milestone for Calvin. He will getting his FIRST hair cut sometime soon! He was such a sweetheart.

Emma.Child

Its not everyday I get to do just a one on one shoot with a mini-tot:) But I always look forward to it when I get that chance, so when Heather contacted me about doing Emma's 18 month photos. I got to meet Miss.Emma before hand and she was alittle bashful but who wouldnt when you meet someone new:) Emma the day of her shoot was letting me know that she wasnt going to go far away from mom. And then it was going to be on her terms haha!! She is the type of girl that will get down in the dirt and play all day in her diaper, but then she wants to dress up and be a princess and not get her hands dirty!! She is such a sweet sweet little girl.

The Dyson.Family

K contacted me back in April I do believe about doing Evan's 1st birthday photos. As the months passed it turned into family/1st birthday portraits which became more exciting when she told me that they were expecting Baby Dyson #2 around February 10th, 2011:) I was very excited to meet the Dyson family after K told me they would be coming from Yuma, AZ where they live for B's job. B & K are from Philadelphia, PA and have been together since 2003. They have been married since August 2007 and are about to celebrate their 3 year wedding anniversary here in the next couple weeks!! Evan was just so handsome, I couldn't get over how much he smiled and was just runnnnning around to stretch his legs after that long drive. He didn't want his photos taken until he had a nice sucker or a piece of a palm tree in his hands:)haha Check out this awesome family from yesterday shoot!!

Baby Lily.Newborn

I was so excited to be able to do a girl newborn shoot, granted it was last minute I was still excited to capture Miss.Lily before she lost all her newborn cuteness:) Its been awhile since I got to do a newborn shoot and I forgot what it was like to hold such a tiny baby compared to Luckas being a toddler! Anyways Lily was born on July 19th, 2010 via C-Section. She was a beautiful 7lbs & 6.5oz, 19 inches long and took her first breath at 1:35pm. Her mother, dad & big sister couldn't be happier to have in the world after a difficult pregnancy. Lily was a hungry-machine which all newborns can be and soon after feel alseep in her mother arms! We had a very eventful newborn session that will most likely never be forgotten!! I hope that maybe down the line I will be to capture Miss.Lily again as she grows up and hits her new milestones. Here is Miss.Lily!!

Testing Studio: Luckas & Peyton

I needed a cute little model to test out OJP's new studio for newborns & mini-tots, so I already knew who I would call for such a model. We are going to take a little walk down memory lane...Tatum and I have been friends since we both met eachother when she moved out here to 29 Palms and was about to "POP" from being pregnant and me just a few days behind her. Our due dates were just days apart and we met through one of my best friends who thought it was funny we had close due dates!!! I remember the day she went into labor and her texting me to not go into labor since the floor was filling up fast.haha Seems like forever ago in my mind that Peyton was born and then 6 days later Luckas was in this world. I remember Tatum, Pey & Eric coming and visiting me in the hospital after I had Luckas to stop by and keep me company since Justin was deployed over seas. It was so cute to have them "meet" even though they were just days old and have their first picture together. Ever since then our friendship has grown and our beautiful kids have grown up together. They have become apart of our family that we will never forget. Anyways Pey and Luckas were down for modeling if they had a sucker:) Pey is the cutest thing as always...how could you NOT love her cute smile full of chompers. And Luckas' fresh look from waking up from a nap!! But I got some really cute shots of them together and seperate, let me know what you think!! P.S & no we didn't plan to name our kids Luckas & Peyton after the One Tree Hill Series..haha
