I was very lucky to get the chance to photograph this homecoming for this sweet couple! Danielle and I met last year at Homecoming, I was there photographing her best friend/sister Shivali since the 4th grade!! So I was excited to see her again for her own homecoming this time! I enjoyed chit-chatting with her and Shivali while we waited, waited and waited;) These two companies coming home and the families as well had a great opportunity meeting the Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. Jim Amos while he was visiting the base. I wish I would have went to photograph him to see him myself!lol
While the buses pulled up and everyone was coming off, Danielle and I were looking all over for her Marine. We literally were about to rush through the whole sea of cammies to find him. But all of a sudden I hear Danielle scream which in turn scared me! Guild had came up behind the both of us and grabbed Danielle and just started spinning her around. She was just so excited to see him!! Just an amazing surprise and homecoming for them both!
