McAnally.Family

I have known C since the fall of 2008 when we were both pregnant with our boys:) It was really nice to know that there was someone to chit-chat with here till the boys were born. And our friendship just grew from there! C & W have been together for 3 years and are born East Coasters! Logan is 15 1/2 months old and is literally FULL of energy. He was all over the place or wanted to be all over the place. Sadly enough they are hoping to get back to the east coast by next year! But thats the Marine Corps for you, people become like family and then its time to move on:( We will miss you guys very much!

Stephanie + Andrew.Couple

Stephanie has been really wanting me to come down to San Diego to take her and her husbands photos for months now. I just haven't had the chance to get down there. So when I posted that I was heading down, she literally JUMPED on the chance to book with me. I had a blast meeting them and getting to know a little more about them. They have been together for 3 +years now and they still act like they just started dating. Stephanie & Andrew were laughing and flirting the whole time, it was so easy to capture them as they were! I'm so glad that I got to meet them and capture their memories for living in California!!

Moore.Family

Sunday was a gloomy, rainy day, so we had to reschedule their family shoot for this week. W just got home from a 7 month deployment from over seas & was reunited with J & their son Jakob. W left when Jakob was 11 weeks old and made it home before his BIG 1ST BIRTHDAY!! I couldn't imagine knowing a window date but being told over and over again that the date keeps changing because something keeps happening would drive me crazy. Jakob wasn't having anything to do with smiling, he wanted to be "Mr.Serious", but after warming up just a little and having help from mommy and daddy I got the little smile!

Very exciting news:]

I would like to announce that I will be photographing my FIRST wedding this Fall:] I will be flying back to Kansas for one of my old friends when she ties-the-knot!! I'm very excited that she is wanting me to capture her very special day. So I'm going to be diving into learning alot about wedding photography and whats going to happen. Just thought I would share the very exciting news.

Sarah.Maternity

I guess its the season for all my friends to be having babys:) I got the chance to take Sarahs photos before she had the chance to be put on bed rest for the rest of her pregnancy. I have known Sarah since before I moved out to California, I was there the day she got married and I remember when she called me to tell me she was expecting. I could just feel the happiness coming through the phone. I know her and W are very excited about their little princess coming into the world! Kendra is going to be a very spoiled little girl and alot of people can't wait for her to come into this world!! July couldnt come any sooner.

Meagan.Maternity

I had the privilege to shoot one of my very good friends Meagan for her maternity shoot. Right now Meagan's husband is over seas on a deployment so he will be missing the birth of their first son. Meagan has two beautiful little girls that have been keeping her very busy and are VERY excited about there baby brother to get here. Meagan is one strong cookie for having to take care of two mini tots and then soon to be taking care of a newborn. But she can handle it, she is a Marine Wife!! Can't wait to meet you baby Shane, come soon!

Ludwick.Family

I have been excited about this shoot since the day E scheduled with me. Even though the wind wanted to play its little game with blowing soft and then hard, they were up for the challenge which didn't effect their shoot at all!! We cracked a couple jokes and the ice was broken from there. K is getting out of the Marine Corps this week and they are going back to Wisconsin where they call home. E & K were both releaved to be getting out by the way they talked and the big smiles on their face!! I wish this family the best of luck when they leave the Marine Corps family.
So Mr.Roman didnt want to smile for me at all.Nothing was working...

..And then at the very end he just let me have it with this HUGE adorable smile.

My Mom Rocks Contest Winner Shoot

The winner of the My Mom Rocks Contest Winner for the Children section was Chiara. I had the honor to take their photos before Justin gets out soon from the Marine Corps and they move home to Texas. Ty was such a little booger. He was not going to smile for me but those blue eyes just said it all anyways:] I wish the Simpson Family the best when they leave the Marine Corps. Thank you for your service! Here are some photos from their session.
